Premier visits Illawarra

The New South Wales Premier in the Illawarra today inspecting two major projects.

Gladys Berejiklian spent the morning with Kiama MP Gareth Ward inspecting the Albion Park Rail bypass.

The $630 million dollar extention of the M1 Princes Motorway between Yallah and Oak Flats will bypass Albion Park Rail - being hailed the 'missing link' for a high standard road between Sydney and Bomaderry.

Ms Berejiklian telling Marty, Christie and Crammy the Yallah interchange for Dapto locals hasn't been completely ruled out.

The detailed design for the Albion Park Rail Bypass is available on the RMS website at: www.rms.nsw.gov.au/aprb.

South Coast MP Shelley Hancock then welcomed the Premier to the Shoalhaven District Memorial Hospital to inspect the new multi-storey car park.

Construction on the $11.8 million dollar carpark started back in May, and when finished it'll provide 220 new spaces over five split-levels.
