i98FM has retained its position as the most listened-to radio station in the Illawarra, according to the latest Xtra Research results.

The station has won all shifts, continuing its domination of the Illawarra market with 32.2% of Illawarra residents (aged 10-54) choosing i98FM as their preferred station. This is a full 14.1 points ahead of its nearest commercial rival, Wave FM, at 18.1%.

i98FM's Marty, Christian, and Bella for Breakfast continued to be a hit with listeners, with 26% of the Illawarra audience tuning in. The station's Workday show, hosted by Cam, also came out on top, with 25.5% and 26.3% of listeners choosing the morning and afternoon shows, respectively.

i98FM's long-standing Drive show, hosted by Maje Saba, remained immensely popular over Wave FM, with 26% of listeners tuning in compared to Wave FM’s 17.1%.

i98FM’s total audience stands at 116,900 as opposed to Wave FM’s 87,000.

Station listened to most 5:30am – 12 midnight, Mon – Sun.
