Wollongong City Council presents Australia Day Fireworks 2026
This Australia Day, head down to Wollongong Harbour for a family-friendly community celebration!
The evening kicks off with a Welcome to Country from 5 pm, followed by loads of kids’ activities in Osborne Park - think roving entertainment, live music, tasty food and street shows to keep everyone smiling. PLUS, i98FM Street Fleet will be onsite with feel-good freebies!
Then at 9 pm, look to the sky as Wollongong Harbour lights up with a spectacular Australia Day fireworks display!
Don’t forget to turn on 98.1FM, where the fireworks will be perfectly synced to music for the ultimate experience.
