Wollongong Police are continuing their investigation following a pursuit in East Corrimal and Bellambi yesterday morning.
Police say a red holden astra failed to stop for a random breath test sparking the pursuit.
The driver drove into a park near Bellambi Lagoon at East Corrimal before hitting a concrete ballard and driving on the bike track.
The car was later found abandoned in Bellambi and a 36 year old man arrested.
He was later released and police investigations are continuing.
