A Sydney man who bound and sexually assaulted a 7 year-old girl inside a Kogarah dance studio has been sentenced to life in jail.
At the time, he was on parole for the violent sexual assault of a woman in Wollongong in 2013.
The 56 year-old, who pleaded guilty to 10 charges related to the attack, has been sentenced in Downing Centre District Court.
In handing down his sentence, Acting Judge Paul Conlon said he agreed with the Crown that the attack can only be described as "any parent's worst nightmare."
