A learner driver has allegedly blown six times the legal blood alcohol limit for full licence holders, after crashing into a parked car in Woonona.
Police say the 41-year-old man hit a Holden SUV on Russell Street last night - nearby residents ran outside and the owner of the SUV was able to reach into the car to turn off the ignition.
The man later allegedly returned a breath test with a reading of 0.310, despite learners not being allowed to have any alcohol in their system.
He's been charged with High Range PCA, being an unaccompanied learner driver and driving an unregistered motor vehicle.
He'll face court next month.
