Fuel prices remain high across the Illawarra today.
It comes after prices peaked on Friday and continued over the weekend.
There's currently a price discrepancy of around 42 cents between local petrol stations.
Unleaded 91 prices at the bowser are as low as $1.30 a litre up to as high as $1.72 per litre in the region.
It's sparked a reminder for motorists to take advantage of the New South Wales Government's 'Fuel Check' app and seek out the best deal.
Wollongong, Fairy Meadow, Dapto and Helensburgh boast the highest prices, while Port Kembla, Warilla and Oak Flats are among the cheapest.
