St George Illawarra has been tapping into Ben Hunt's knowledge of Brisbane heading into tonight's NRL season opener.
The playmaker comes up against his former club and mentor, Wayne Bennett.
Dragons coach Paul McGregor says Hunt has given them a bit of inside information.
“He knows a lot about the opposition because he’d been there for such a long time,” said McGregor.
“He came through the 20s with a lot of those guys so he gives us a little bit of an indication of what they’re about.”
The match kicks off at Kogarah's UOW Jubilee Oval at 8:05pm.
