BREAKING: NATIONAL CABINET REVEALS ROADMAP TO COVID SAFE AUSTRALIA
Prime Minister Scott Morrison has revealed a three step plan to ease restrictions and achieve a COVID safe economy in Australia with the aspirational date of July this year
States and territories are expected to move at their own pace when working through the stages and will be responsible for setting their own timetable.
STAGE ONE:
Five visitors in the home, 10 in business and public places
Ten people at weddings, 30 people at funerals
Work from home if it works for both you and your employer
Restaurants, cafes and shopping centres will open
Libraries, community centres, playgrounds and boot camps open
Local and regional travel will be allowed
STAGE TWO:
Gatherings of 20 in your home, business and public places
Work from home if it works for you and your employer
Gyms, beauty, cinemas, galleries and amusement parks open
Caravan & camping grounds open
Some interstate travel
STAGE THREE:
Gathering sizes increased to 100
Return to workplace
Nightclubs, food courts, saunas open
All interstate travel
Consideration of cross-Tasman, pacific island and international students travel
