Passengers will be flying in and out of Albion Park as early as November - with the new airline officially announced!
Fly Corporate has been named as the new airline provider for the Illawarra Regional Airport - with services to Melbourne's Essendon airport and Brisbane locked in.
The company was able to meet Shellharbour City Council’s strict mandatory criteria and will commence services on November 12 , 2018.
Initially, the company will schedule eighteen flights on the Melbourne route each week and eight flights on the Brisbane route each week.
As it stands the regional network has 140 flights per week in areas including Armidale, Biloela (Thangool), Brisbane, Coffs Harbour, Dubbo, Inverell, Melbourne, Moree, Narrabri, Orange, Sydney and Tamworth.
The local flights will be crewed by two pilots and a flight attendant and Fly Corporate provide a full inflight service.
