So Popera Productions are thrilled to announce the engaging and welcoming hit musical, Come From Away, will make its way to the Illawarra for the first time.
Come From Away tells the remarkable story of 7,000 stranded passengers and the small town in Newfoundland that welcomed them. Cultures clashed and nerves ran high, but uneasiness turned into trust, music soared into the night, and gratitude grew into enduring friendships.
With an onstage band, incredible staging and a rich, folk-music score, by the end of the show, everyone wants to be a Newfoundlander. Cast members include local performers Jennifer Turnbull, Molly Stewart, Tanya Boyle, Jennifer Bond, Anne-Marie Fanning April Neho, Damien Leith, Geoff Stone, Brad Facey, Chae Rogan, John Michael Narres and Naisa Lasalosi
