Movie Night: “Women He’s Undressed” - The story of Orry-Kelly

Women He's Undressed is a 2015 Australian documentary directed by Gillian Armstrong, exploring the life and career of Orry-Kelly, a three-time Academy Award-winning costume designer from Kiama.

Based on his memoir Women I've Undressed, it captures Kelly’s journey - from his childhood in Kiama to his experiences as a young man in Sydney, his time in New York, and ultimately Hollywood. The film delves into his homosexuality, his relationship with Cary Grant, his struggles with alcoholism, and, of course, his extraordinary talent as a costume designer.
