The Nan Tien Temple in Berkeley NSW and the Chatswood Branch in Sydney will be conducting a study and action group on the Spiritual and Environmental Preservation Practice (SEPP) for the next 8 weeks. It will be held every Saturday 6:30pm to 7:30pm starting from the 3rd of August.
Facilitated by a Buddhist monastic and a sustainability practitioner, we all come together to plan and co-create options to build and bring about a better world. There already exist initiatives and systems that are viable ways of living for humans. By supporting and participating in these, the earth can return to a healthy state.
This day to day journey for environmental preservation can also be a spiritual practice. There are many spiritual skills that we can apply to the challenges we face and to give us the strength of heart to see it through.
Please come and join us and we are sure that we all have a role to play and can contribute towards a Pureland on Earth.
