Wollongong locals Savvy Fitness are helping to reduce the impact of depression by embarking on the Maguire & McInerney Savvy Survivor 23 from the 8th- 14th of December to raise awareness and funds for the Black Dog Institute.
One in five Australians are affected by mental illness every year, with one of the most common of these being depression. It touches people of all ages and from all walks of life, and places an enormous burden on individuals, families, workplaces and the health system.
For Savvy, the Black Dog Institute has a special significance.
‘’Our Savvy community has been personally touched by mental illness too many times and we are extremely motivated to make a difference. Come along and help us achieve this goal!’
Find your Tribe & prepare for a week of high energy, feel good action!
