Port Kembla and Corrimal Pools are closed due to storm damage.

Trains have also stopped running between Kiama and Oak Flats with buses replacing services.

About 80,000 homes remain without power across the Illawarra, Sydney, the Central Coast and the Hunter.

Three SES field teams are currently attending to 21 outstanding jobs from Kanahooka to Helesburgh, with the help of the RFS including fallen trees and leaking roofs.

In Mount Pleasant - 103 millimetres of rain has fallen, 85 in Mount Kembla, 76 in Bellambi and 61 in Port Kembla.

Wind gusts of over 90 kms have been recorded in Kiama and at Bellambi Point.
