Minister for Social Services Scott Morrison will officially open the University of Wollongong's $44 million dollar Early Start teaching and research facility this morning.
It's being called the "most sophisticated early childhood teaching initiative ever undertaken in Australia".
The building includes the country's only dedicated children's museum, an international hub for research and cutting edge early childhood courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
The Discovery Space museum opened in May and has already received over 12,000 visitors.
