Port Kembla could take over Sydney as the next big destination for cruise ships.
A number of the country's biggest ompanies claim they're fed up with a lack of prine docking space at Sydney Harbour, and have pulled some of their big ships from docking there.
The Royal Carribean's most popular cruise - Voyager of the Seas - will no longer continue visiting Australia at all because of the issue.
Instead, the major cruiseliner will remain in Singapore and China for a year-round season.
Mark Sleigh from Destination Wollongong says Port Kembla offers a perfect alternative.
"The exciting thing for Port Kembla is that it has all the infrastructure to turn all of these cruise ships around tomorrow," he said.
