Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward after a service station was robbed at Warilla
It's alleged the man threatened a worker at the Shellharbour Road servo with a piece of wood.
He fled empty handed, and no one was injured in the incident.
Police dogs tracked him to Arcadia Street where it's believed he fled in a car.
He has been described to police as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 183cm tall and with a medium build.
Police have urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
