A man's been charged over two armed robberies in Wollongong.
The first happened on Sunday night when a man entered a convenience store on Crown Street and allegedly threatened the attendant with a knife, fleeing with cash.
The second incident happened a few hours later when a female employee at a restaurant on the same street was also allegedly threatened with a knife, but the alleged offender left empty handed after being confronted by the restaurant owner.
A 27-year-old man was arrested yesterday at a home on Parkside Avenue in Wollongong.
He's been charged and refused bail to front court today.
