Work will start in early February to connect Fern Street in Gerringong to the new Omega Bridge.
It's part of the State Government's $329 million dollar Princes Highway upgrade in the area to improve road safety and traffic flow.
Fern Street will be closed between Rose Valley Road and Sandy Wah Road from 4am on Monday February 9 until Friday February 13 when the new Omega Bridge will open to traffic.
Flood work will be carried out during that time and a section of the street will be raised to connect to the new bridge.
Access to Gerringong will be via Belinda Street during this time.
Some night work might be needed to reduced the length of the closure and temporary signage will be in place.
