Emergency services are again warning us to take more care when visiting National Parks.
A woman had to be airlifted from the Royal National Park at Otford yesterday, after slipping and hurting her ankle.
The 40 year old had been bushwalking the Coast Track, and ended up in an area known as "Palm Jungle".
The location is inaccessible by car, meaning she had to be carried by paramedics and SES volunteers to another part of the escarpment.
The Ambunace chopper was then able to airlift her to Wollongong Hospital for further treatment.
