Just when you thought Pokémon Go had been left in the dust in the ongoing fight for our attention spans, Nintendo is attempting to boost the presence of the interactive app with the release of a wearable accessory.
The Pokémon Go Plus is a small plastic badge that allows the app to continue to invade your life even when you’re not on your phone by connecting to it via Bluetooth.
Users will be alerted with what are likely going to become annoying beeps and vibrations when urgent Pokémon Go activity arises.
The device goes on sale tomorrow at EB Games and Nintendo’s Australia/New Zealand eBay store for $49.95.
Now when you’re watching people mysteriously loiter whilst glued to their phones, you can easily determine whether or not they’re part of the Pokémon Go cult.
